Genome: The entire DNA code of all chromosomes
Introduction: The genome is the name of the full set of all DNA code for a person or animal. The genome consists of multiple chromosomes each containing many genes, each composed from many base pairs. The human genome code is about 3 billion base pairs, and has been decoded as part of the human genome project.
